It’s time for Hyper Nonsense! The best podcast you’ll hear right now… unless you listen to something (anything) else. We started out the show with ambient furniture noises, which lead into a story of the last couple of chairs I bought from Staples. Jen explains how it feels to never leave the house. We talk about the new social net that’s all the rage with the kids. I relate a story about how my sister’s car was broken into and what happened to her stolen iPod. I’ve been cooking more at home and researching recipes. I discovered that food bloggers can be kinda self-important.We read some listener feedback and we take a look at what American products are called in other countries. And more!
Hyper Nonsense! We are the pod that comes to you straight from the heart of California. San Luis Obispo (Sanluiton) to be exact. On this exciting episode, we talk about how The Man is sticking it to us for starting our own business. I had a cool “customer service” experience on behalf of a local musician. We talked about “binge-watching” of TV shows and why we don’t do it. We honored the mystical land of Canadia with a special performance of O, Canadia. We wonder how it’d be possible for Hyper Nonsense to become the first podcast on Mars. Ceiling-breaking cupcake-eating bears, we got ’em. The most annoying phrases that we’re all overusing? We got those, too.
We’ve done it! Yes, it’s true. We’ve successfully doubled the number of episodes we’ve produced so far. In honor of this milestone, we’ve decided to end the show. Just kidding! How could we quit now? We’ve got listeners leaving us comments, tweets, even calling us at home in the middle of the night! We’ve got new audio gear and we’re happy to tell you about it, even if we do have “more money than sense” in buying all of this stuff. We also discovered that the Australian prime minister has apparently been listening to our pods for years. Star Wars references! We got those, too. And daring helicopter-based escapes from Canadian prisons.
