I haven’t finished listening to the show yet,(I’m halfway) but I had to leave a few comments before I forgot them. I’m sad to hear the show is going, but at the same time I’m glad it’s over. I’m going to miss the show, but if ending it means that Shawn has made a giant step forward in his personal life, then I’m glad it’s done.
Of course, that doesn’t preclude a future show, so I’m hoping for that and in the meantime, I’ll continue listening to Shawnogram and Inside My Head and scheme a way to meet you both sometime. Maybe a trip to visit a few missions might be a good enough excuse to be in your neck of the woods sometime. Or maybe you might make a return trip up to the aquarium in Monterey. Either way, whether you felt you had a ton of fans or not, I like to count myself among them. Good luck with all your future endeavors, Jen and Shawn. And yes, I’m dropping the “o” from now on unless Shawn wants it back.

That was a dignified ending. For a moment there I thought this was going to get all mushy, but it didn’t. I’m not gonna comment on why this show had to end, I just think it’s a wise decision.
How about dropping the “o” and adding Schnauss? Shawn and Jen Schnauss sounds good, right? Although… for some reason I think Jen prefers Schnapps
Cheers!

Move “As the Type Moves” over to “Inside My Head.” It’s too funny a segment for it not to move somewhere.

Shawno, good luck with fighting your demons. If you don’t control your demons they will control you.
It wasn’t too long ago when I got this posting from a dude named Shawno on the comments section on my podcast feed. Several months later I actually followed the link to Hypernonsense and find out he has a podcast, listened to a few episodes and then I was hooked.

I got your package today in the mail. Love the Star Trek glass and all the music. I plan to listen to them in the car on the way to work and home.
Jen. I think you shoud move as the type moves to inside my head. It is something that is fun and we enjoy it.

Well, this is it. I didn’t want it to happen and now that Shawno has explained why it has happened, I can understand why. It might be good to freshen up, have a break, get out and take us on more walks of SLO.
As The Type Moves *so* should a part of IMH now, especially with Nannapoopoo coming up. Like Shawno, I am not doing Nannapoopoo this year but I support and wish everyone luck who is.
While I’m sad HN has ended, I’ll remember the fun that I had listening and taking part in the show. I’ll remember the episode where I stood in for Jen while I was Mr Shed at work and asking the KFC guy if he wanted to talk to Shawno.
I’ll remember the opening of the episode where I was in studio A and Shawno asked me how I felt after flying in and I said “boy, are my arms tired”
I’ll remember Shawno being asked a totally different question and not realising his mic was open, asking Jen what she wanted to eat.
I’ll remember Jen at the end of each Round Table saying something like “well, I have to go to work at the Evil Bookstore in xx hours”.
There are so many memories, lots of good times……..

Hello dear friends,
It’s sorry to see you go, it’s almost feel natural that this is the end. It’s always good to take some time to yourself, and if this podcast does not come back, I am sure there are bigger and better things to come.
I’ll keep listening to IMH and Shawnogram, and keep in touch.
Good times past, and I’m sure Good times to come.
Rowley.

FYI: Just had a conversation with someone who speaks Spanish and used the word “gordo”. Apparently it doesn’t mean fatso or fatty but it’s “el gordo” which means “the fat one”. It is only used to describe something positive, like big fat prize.

Wow. I’m just listening to this; I’m currently about 20 minutes in. This is a great episode so far: your honesty is wonderful. BTW in case you didn’t know, I have an unhealthy relationship with food and may need to get some treatment for it myself. (I’d already been talking about my problem with a psychiatrist when I was in L.A. but I don’t see anybody now that I’ve moved to Huntsville.)
Glad to hear you’re taking care of yourself.
