This episode rocked even with O’s opening statement. Needless to say, I didn’t take him literally or I couldn’t write this comment, could I?

I forgot that I told the audience to fuck off at the beginning of the show. I blame trolley rage.

Erk,
“Booze” was definitely the right word for this episode!
So nice to hear you like “As the Type Moves” and also my laugh.

Now I’m jealous of you Shawno. I need a dentist with a high tech x-ray like that. Wonder if it’s any safer than the ones I’ve gotten where the person hides behind a wall and they protect my chest while they shoot my whole head with x-rays. Hmmm…seems like they might be protecting the wrong area. Maybe I can get a lead helmet? Would like to keep the old brain working for as long as possible you know?
My spamword: Pizza – Think Talli will let me have some? My birthday is coming up in a week. Maybe I can convince her.
You made me realize that I’m not going to get a chance to ride Monterey’s trolley again before they shut it down in Sept. Stuck here in the valley…oh well. :/
Favorite high school class: English (Any chance to write was good for me.)

Do they shut down the trolley during the winter months, David? Or is it going to be closed down completely?
And our announcer lives in the town where you’re at right now. He’s on Twitter if you want to look him up.

I once rode a bus (or tram, or trolley, or whatever it was called). I was alone that day, had taken a drive to Santa Cruz the night before for no other reason than to get out of L.A. for the night. Ended up cruising up to Monterrey from Santa Cruz, spent the day on the bus and walking around town. I have no point to this post, just relating what’s coming to mind as I listen to the first portion of your podcast.

BTW right after I posted I noticed this article about this experimental “dune buggy for the blind” being designed by students at the Virginia Tech College of Engineering in Blacksburg, VA:

Oh man I’d completely forgotten the bus ride from hell, was that really a year ago?
As soon as you started talking about a sweet taste in your mouth my first thought was also Diabetes. My mum suffers and I’m at high risk too. Glad you don’t have it.
I too have an over-sized head and therefore still have my wisdom teeth. I haven’t been to a dentist in nearly 20 years.
Epic X-Ray pwnage!
My favourite lessons at school were English and Chemistry. In both cases because the teachers were awesome. Strangely my fantastic Chemistry teacher was by far the most religious teacher in my school.
IMO ‘lovely enjoyable baggage’ = kids. It boggles the mind that people write this stuff.

They only run the Trolley during the tourist season, Shawno. The main purpose is to make sure the tourists don’t miss any opportunities to spend some money in the shops. They set the running dates as Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. It’s too dead in Monterey the rest of the year to justify running it, especially since it’s still free. If they charged something, they might think of keeping it, but since it doesn’t run very far, I can’t imagine anyone paying more than a quarter or two to ride it.
I might have to look up your announcer. Although, to be honest, I think we’re so busy that we hardly leave our apartment. So, I completely understand the trade off you made to go outside instead of podcasting. It feels almost like an either or choice for me these days as well.

I guess the bus driver had to let the shark on the bus. He is not allowed to descriminate against race, religion, or political offiliation. I don’t know if he can descriminate against species. I just want to know what Kind of business a shark had in down town Miami. *Shrug*
