Was this also the famous "Shawno rides the bus to an apartment complex to buy a used computer" episode?

I bought a used PC at the Goodwill a few years back that contained a family's legal papers, music collection and vacation photos, including a picture of the lady of the house grabbing another woman's breasts, with everybody going, "Ha ha ha!"

Anyway, it suddenly occurred to me, as HN 152 again features your favorite song, "The Ballad Of Morris The Cat", that Dr. Demento played this song once and has never played it again, despite the occurrence of several more "Dog and Cat"-themed shows.

The problem is, I am usually squeezed out of Demento's view by an inferior parody song collective that inundates Demento with requests for their own songs, thereby ruining his show.

To remedy this situation, I figured, why not ask that a major "Morris" fan and influential podcast host request this song from Demento?

To do this, send an e-mail to drdemento@drdemento.com or visit:

Thank you!

Sad to say that this used Macintosh was acquired through eBay, Ken. It didn't come pre-loaded with someone else's naked pictures.

How dare you buy a used G4 tower without providing every detail of your bus ride to the apartment complex where you successfully completed your purchase?

That was one of your most memorable shows.

I'm also two episodes into Season 4 of Battlestar Galactica, and the show has already delivered one classic line, through Admiral Adama:

"You can stay in the room, but get out of my head!"

I am dying to see Star Trek. I spent my monthly movie theater budget to go see Wolverine. I am either going to see it when it reached the dollar theater or when it comes out on DVD.

That Dead Dolphin article was funny and sad at the same time. The por dolphis is dead. :( But the blatent fact that the writer was pulling as many high searched for keywords from the internet as he possibly could think of. The global monthy search count for the keyword "Jon Bon Jovi" is 368,000 in April. Thats a lot of searches. Then he used "Al Gore" which got 673,000 searches last month. "John Kerry" got 110,000. "Barack Obama" got 5,000,000 searches. I definately think he was looking for hits. I wish I could see his tag list. I bet that would interesting.

I've stopped watching Lost now. It was the most exciting thing on TV for ages, but it just kept on piling mysteries on. Resolve the original mystery before you start a new one for f@%*'s sake! I think J.J. Abrams did have a plan for where it was going when he started it, but he hasn't been directly involved for some time. I think they're just winging it now.

Here it Britain we call it a FILL-et steak not a FILL-ay meen-YON.

DAMN YOU!!!!!! The latest series of House hasn't started here since it's changing channels. That was a pretty big spoiler in the middle there. I love House, but it has gone downhill since the original cast moved away. It's not so much the fact that they changed the cast, it's the fact that the original cast hung around in the background. If you're going to change make it a clean break.

I hate FeedBurner. For god's sake just have a list of TOTAL downloads easily available. Forget all this logorithmic crap. FeedBurner says I only have 3 subscribers for WMVP, when anecdotally I know I have AT LEAST double that.

Total downloads have always exceeded the Feedburner number, which makes sense, as some people will download/play the episodes right from the website. But the Feedburner stats are still nice to have. Though, this is the only one of our podcasts that uses Feedburner, and that's mainly 'cause back in 2006, it was easier to run a feed through Feedburner to make the feed podcast-ready. Now we've got WordPress and plugins to do that.

Ok, I wasn't going to leave another comment, but man that last song! That was HIlarious! Plus it brought back memories of both those commercials and some songs of that style that my dad used to play when I was a kid. Glad you threw that on the end.

What else? Ok, it was me. You said you wanted the drop to be promo free. I decided to make is easier. Nothing to edit out, but some silence. Nice and simple.

Congrats on making it to triple digits on subscribers. Here's my mini rant on feedburner. Their stats suck. Way back when I used to use feedburner, my # of subscribers was always at least 10-20% less than the number of downloads I got on an episode in the first week. What the heck does a subscriber mean to them? All I have to say is that if you have 5,000 downloads a week for a given show (not saying I had that many) why would feedburner say that you have 4,000 subscribers. That makes no sense. Hyper Nonsense might actually have been in the triple digits in downloads for every show for quite a long time now.

Ok, I better get back to listening to Hyper Nonsense. Forty-one minutes left. Something about a house that's a doctor who is a drug addict. What weird stuff they've put on tv since I stopped watching.
