Wanting a bigger TV to see naked chicks is a legitimate reason. And if you’re legally blind getting one is probably tax-deductible, at least it is over here.

I wouldn’t buy one of those LCD-TVs just to watch regular TV though, they have a much higher resolution than a normal TV. The picture quality sucks if the aforementioned naked chicks are transmitted via a regular NTSC TV signal. Only buy an LCD-TV if you can get a digital HD signal or own a DVD player with component-out or HDMI.

Wow! In exactly two weeks, Erk will be able to spam the board live and in person!

Just had a Dallas Tweetup on Wednesday at Mockingbird Station. First time I’ve seen any of those people since the Twestival.

What a bunch of nerds. Haw haw haw! Except for me, that is.

Shawno, It rather undercuts your argument when you say “I don’t Tweet or Re-Tweet” and follow that up with, “As I posted from TweetDeck….”

Perhaps the developer will follow your lead and rename his application “PostDeck.”

LOLZ at Shawno wanting a bigger TV so he could see naked chicks. I thought I’d be the only one of the HN listenership to put such a request in!

Tweetups are a lot of fun. As I’ve said to Shawno, we don’t call them tweetups. It’s interesting to see who goes. Here in Sydney, most of the tweetups that I go to are mainly for techies and people working in tech and IT – and here I am as a train driver.

In exactly 2 weeks I will be flying in a jet plane to LA!

I still need to watch Nacho Libre. Nothing like a little comedy with some wrestling thrown in. Been meaning to watch it for awhile. Jack Black is pretty talented. He even has that band Tenacious D, which my roommate from when I worked in NYC used to love. From the little that I’ve heard, they’re pretty good and fun to listen to.

Now, as for that asteroid story…come on. You had to have been at least modifying that story a bit. That or the journalist was having a little fun at everyone’s expense by tweaking the story a bit for laughs. I can say lol, because by the time you said 69 feet, I was truly laughing out loud. But, if you prefer Shawno…LOLZ! Since it’s after 2am, I’m hoping I didn’t disturb anyone sleeping over here.

Jen, I too have very little need for a mobile phone. I use mine about once a week if that. It’s still a good thing to have for emergencies though. Who’s Jen gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS!

Being a fan of Mexican wrestling and Jack Black I expected to quite enjoy Nacho Libre. It was only OK. The main problem I have with it is the tacked-on romantic interest. I hate it when films have a romantic interest for no good reason. The worst case I can think of off the top of my head is Commando. Of course Nacho Libre is the worst possible scenario beacuse the romantic interest is A NUN! Seriously people we don’t need romance in every single fricking film.

That would be FREE-ma AG-ye-man Shawno. Once again the ignorant Americans can’t cope with a name from another culture.

(Bugger he’s going to chuck some Liberty Blossoms at me now…)
