Ha ha! I’m one of those punks who likes to type FIRST! on message boards!
The early Twit gets the worm!
So, what is this site for, anyway?

Fastiduous?
I know what you’re saying about the compulsion to create quality mixes in the home studio. You want to create the best quality mix so you can tell people to go fuck themselves when they don’t like it anyway.
A friend told me I’ve already mixed all the funny out of my latest song, in an effort to make it sound like real “music.” What are you gonna do?
All of this led me to reevaluate the Sidebars’ seminal hit, “The Right Way,” in a more charitable frame of mind.
My conclusion? I like the drummer even less now!

Here I am popping in to give an unsolicited opinion on the first part of the show. With the RPM challenge, I think you should go for the full quality song. Forget about acoustic versions, so that you can do more. Do what the music requires to make you happy. Just use the RPM challenge as a motivation to get as many done as possible. Challenges like that have often driven me to get back to something that I wanted to do, but couldn’t seem to make the time for.
Besides, what do you get out of completing the RPM challenge? If it’s nothing, then you wasted your time producing music you weren’t happy with for nothing. Instead you could have produced 3, 4 or 5 songs that you’re happy with and you’d have that many songs that you wouldn’t have had before.
You sound passionate about the music, so make the music you’re passionate about. That’s the stuff we all want to hear anyway.

Ok, I just finished the second half of the podcast. At first I thought those songs were funny…now I think you’re just trying to infect my brain with the music equivalent of a virus. I’m heading to find some musical antibiotics to kill those songs in my head. I hope I don’t need two rounds of them to eradicate those songs…

Not sure if by ‘The Deciders’ rules it qualifies, but I should have my ‘Right Way’ remix done in the next few days.
It probably was Kurt Warner on The Biggest Loser, he was one of the starting quarterbacks. Reality TV is taking over the world and it’s not a happy thought.
Is the world ready for Shawno TV? Personally I don’t like Gordon Ramsey that much, but he knows what he’s talking about. My brother watches Hell’s Kitchen regularly and he very, very rarely fails to turn the restaurant around.
Shawno’s ‘one food restaurant’ idea isn’t as crazy as it sounds. One of the most successful steak house franchises here in the UK during the ’80s was called Berni Inn and the founder realised that 90% of his customers ordered exactly the same thing, so you could walk in and order a set meal of prawn cocktail, rump steak and ice cream for one low price.
Yes that word was colliery as in coal miners. In the north of England for some reason the main social focus of small mining towns was brass bands (at least when we still had coal mines). British people would have got that song…
That video is crazy. The guy stirring soup just doesn’t care that his weirdo tracksuit bottoms are falling down.

That Hurra Torpedo video isn’t that bad, the Bonnie Tyler version is much worse. But maybe that’s because Radio Veronica is the only channel my crappy radio can pick up without any distortion, and for some reason Radio Veronica is now an oldie station. I get to hear that song at least 3 times a week. Yay!
Turns out there’s also a video version of that Max Vernon song on the Youtubes
I’m on day 12 of having the flu so i may have missed a thing or two, what is this RPM thing you speak of ? I couldn’t find any music. Maybe you can put up a basic track that everyone in your audience can add to and see what happens.

Let’s open our own eatery, Shawno and Jen!
We can divide it into 3 parts, namely:
* Lots of meat and no salad or decorations, run by me
* The food allergy section run by Jen
* Whatever Shawno wants to eat run by Shawno
And I can’t believe that Jen got so shocked when Shawno called San Francisco “San Franciscsky” – this from a bloke who calls Canada Canadia.
And I’m still waiting for my lesbian photos but I’ll be Prime Minister of Upper Moonshine East before that happens!

If there’s one cold, hard (no pun intended) lesson life has taught me, it’s to never rely on a Canadian for your amateur lesbian porn.
