I completely agree with Shawno’s expert analysis of the Indiana Jones series and the film industry’s inevitable trend toward digitalization.
In fact, I predict that within a short time, six months tops, Shawno and Jen will be displaced from their own program by the Nabaztag bunny, as soon as Vanya finishes changing all of Shawno’s passwords.
Were The Monkees really in the new Indy film? How about Michael Nesmith? He doesn’t tour with them, but I suppose they could have got him back for an Indiana Jones movie.

I wanted to comment on the Star Wars & Indian Jones movies. Let’s just say that I just saw the second of the new Star Wars films last year after borrowing it from the library because the first one turned me so off from it. Wasn’t going to see the third one, but Shawno convinced me that maybe if it was free as well, I would watch it. As for the new Indiana Jones movie, it would have to be free and I would need to have someone to make fun of it along with me while I watch it. If I have to be quiet during it, I don’t think I would last through it. At least that’s the impression I get after all the reviews I’ve heard of it.
I think I’ll also have to finally get around to watching V for Vendetta. Yes, it’s true, I haven’t seen very many movies lately. The last one I saw in theaters was…Into the Wild. Oh, well. Guess I’ve been too busy.
I stayed through to the end of the podcast. Now I understand what Erk was talking about. I agree Shawno, it wasn’t exciting. But, it did show your character that you apologized and on the recording to boot. Good for you. I’ll remember that next time I step out of line. Be more like Shawno…

Oh, and I forgot Shawno’s admonishment to go outside after listening to the podcast. I was listening to it on the way back from the beach.
It may not have been 79F over here, but we did get 75 today. Not bad for Feb 2.

V for Vendetta is a good film, but it’s an even better comic book. Alan Moore is a genius and V is one of his best. In some ways the film is remarkably close to the original material and in others it’s not.
I actually really enjoyed Saved! It was one of those Saturday afternoons when there’s nothing on telly, so I thought I’d laugh at some American Christian propaganda. It turned out to be a very balanced film and even anti-christian. Seeing Mandy Moore play a complete bitch was fun as well.
Thinking about it, 3 of the 5 songs I used in my promo are on that CD. ‘Popsong’, ‘Pogo In The Shoes Of Kylie Minogue’ & ‘Vultures’ are on the CD, but ‘Put You In Your Place’ & ‘Michelle Plays Ping Pong’ aren’t. Glad you liked the first one.
Once again Shawno’s megalomaniacal side comes out in the post-song bit…

Shawno tells me to go outside so what do I do? Start another podcast and a landing site for all 4 of them at http://www.channelerk.com – nice work, Shawno!
Anyhoo, I couldn’t help thinking back to when I had Tee Morris on Erk Pod and what he called the latest Indy movie: Indiana Jones and the Case of the Crystal Suck. I guess you don’t need to know much else of his opinion of the movie based on that title!
I’m glad I listened until after the song. I am so going to do that from now on as I think that might be a regular bit to see who stays around until the timer reads 00.00
