Gee I don’t know, Shawno! That comma from Colin could have been awfully private!
And you’ll be back next week, Shanwo! Because you are the PHANTOM! (spam word)

Re: Netflix
You need an Intel-based Mac with OS 10.4.8 and a Gigabyte of RAM. I have a loaner MacBook Pro which belongs to the San Antonio Macintosh Users Group which I’m president of and that is what I was streaming Netflix from. It won’t work on my eMac.
You can stream with the lowest $10/month subscription.

Catch up with Dr. Who dammit! I’m a huge fan from the old days and when it was announced it was coming back there was a huge geekgasm all over the UK. It got even bigger when we actually saw it and it turned out to be excellent. Torchwood is great too. Gay propaganda all over the place. You should start Torchwood after the second series of Dr. Who. Have you spotted what Torchwood is an anagram of? It was what was put on the film cans (or whatever they use nowadays) to prevent the tabloids getting their hands on leaks from the first series of the new Dr. Who.
North By Northwest has one of the best endings of any film ever. That abrupt cut when he’s dragging her up Mount Rushmore is genius. Hitchcock is one of the very few directors who would ever have dared to do that.
Hope you enjoy the mix CD when you get around to listening to it. You’ve got another present on it’s way to you.
When you started talking about bad covers this track came to me instantly.
4 The Cause – Stand By Me
There are certain tracks that are sacrosanct and should never be touched. In my opinion Stand By Me is one of them and this travesty actually made it to No. 12 in the UK charts in 1998.
Boy George looks terrible. He has gained so much weight. As I understand it he accused the guy he ‘imprisoned’ of stealing from him.
Cue Erk worrying about whether HN is gone forever again after that post-song bit.

And on the subject of 12-year-old Hip-Hop arseholes covering good tracks here’s another one.
Blazin’ Squad – Crossroads

Much Ado About Dr. Who would be a better title for this episode. If that “private” torrent site has only British stuff give the original Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy TV series a try if they have it, it’s dated but a lot better than the movie.
Did you ever try using a binary newsserver for downloading por..i mean TV shows? The torrents are way too slow for me, i got the 1st season of Californication in iPod video format a few days ago from one of those, took about an hour to download 5GB.
Great, phone went and now i lost my train of thought. Whatever

Here’s another track that should never EVER be touched. This one made No. 1 here in the UK.
All Saints – Under The Bridge
I’va also sent something to your e-mail box. (You really shouldn’t set this kind of challenge to a muso like me).

No, Colin, no! That can’t happen yet! I still haven’t done karaoke (spam word) with Jen and had Shawno comment on it on the show!
As for Channel BT, I don’t know much about the mechanics of it. But if you are looking around the channel, see if you can get a Kiwi ride along cop show called “Police 10-7″. The Kiwis are very relaxed and would be a lot better sheep farmers than the South Americans. For best effect, watch an episode of COPS followed by an episode of 10-7.

If you guys can manage it, you should try and speak to that Baracko Barma guy that they were talking non stop about yesterday. They mentioned him heaps of times during the 5 hours or so that I was watching CNN but I didn’t see him once!

I was watching a travel show on my cable service early this morning and the host went through SLO and went to Bubble Gum Alley.
Maybe that’s the reasons for Jen’s allergies! You can’t have a wall filled with new and old bubble gum without lots of germs!

The family got $600,000 on a technicality? Is our court system completely screwed up? What if they had been proven to have messed it up? Would the family have gotten $6,000,000? For someone that killed one of their family members with a samurai sword? You’d think they’d be glad to be rid of him at this point. As I’m glad that I finally put together a sentence without a question mark in it.
Besides, shouldn’t they be suing FaceBook or Burger King instead? I heard that someone had unfriended him on FaceBook for a Whopper. Because of that, he got a plastic knife that was smuggled in from Burger King and sawed his wrist for 20 minutes until he started bleeding and then ran away so that he could have enough time to bleed. It would take a while with a plastic knife, after all. Good thing he didn’t use the spork that was smuggled to him. That could have taken even longer.
As far as the government’s money goes (which is really ours), it will probably cost them less to pay the family $600k than it would to keep caring for that guy. Sorry, if I seem callous, but it’s hard to feel sorry for someone that killed his father with a samurai sword when he commits suicide. It’s also hard to feel sorry for the family that capitalizes on the suicide to enrich themselves at our expense.

On a much more positive note, you’ve got me wanting to watch North by Northwest again. I know that Talli hasn’t watched it and I think she’d enjoy it. I wonder if one of the streaming sites like Hulu or Joost has old movies like that. It would be very cool if we could watch it that way. I’ll have to look around because I don’t have time to stop by a Blockbuster and pick it up and return it and we don’t watch enough movies to get Netflix.

That Blazin’ Squad thing is just… awful, Colin. And sadly (?), the All Saints clip has been removed.
