We certainly did PWN NaPodPoMo!
That’s a heavy hitting antibiotic you’re on Shawno. It should deal with “da SARS”.
Coke Zero is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. This is certainly not “healthier” than sugar or artificial sweetners. It’s just as bad, if not worse in some cases. It is cheaper to use and it mixes easier than regular sugar.
Seriously Jen, I can’t believe the bullshit you’re having to endure with this new teaching job! It better bloody be worth it! At least the “other” teaching job has been more forthright in giving you information.
As for Proposition 8, I believe if the word “marriage” is dropped, then I don’t think most people will have a problem with it. I have nothing against same sex couples, but I believe they deserve their own legislation and not an ammendment to an existing form of legislation? Legislation regarding marriage here in Australia is federal legislation.

LOL’ed at Shawno’s “Lunch Action” and Arnie “coming out”.
Dear SLO Department of Education, you need to hire Jen full time and if that means moving her between schools, it is better than hiring her for 2 hours here, two hours there.

Does Pepsico sell Pepsi Max in the U.S.? Tastes a lot better than Coke Zero and has no sugar, only double the amount of caffeine.
I heard Adam Corolla say “Canadia” a few days ago, forgot what show it was but I think you guys should sue him. (it wasn’t on Loveline, is that still on?)

I’ve got a can of Coke Zero right here, Tim. High-fructose corn syrup isn’t listed as an ingredient. But, Aspartame is, and Aspartame is an artificial sweetener typically found in diet beverages.
And I don’t remember if I’ve ever tried Pepsi Max, Dave. I did try Pepsi Jazz once, and I didn’t care for it. Adam Carolla hasn’t been a part of “Loveine” for a few years. He hosts a morning zoo now, out of L.A. He was one-third of the equation for replacing Howard Stern, once Stern moved to satellite radio. Of the three guys that CBS chose to replace Stern, Carolla is the only one left. The other two were David Lee Roth (!) and some dude in Ohio. Anyway, it’s good that he said “Canadia.” The revolution is growing.

Testing after comment FAIL. It was probably censored by the Government of the People’s Republic of Canadia.

Just to add to the Canadia showreel, I heard Leo LaPorte (Mr TWiT himself) say Canadia at the start of Net @ Night #72.

Hi there,
Thanks for the trackback link. I’ll be putting your blog in my blogroll. I would appreciate it if you did the same for Say What?.
Have a wonderful holiday season.

Great show! Jen, that ending you did right before the song where you were saying “Tune in to find out . . .” That was almost professional, maybe you should clip that for your next promo. I too laughed out loud at the Arnold Schwarzenegger coming out line. Good one. I’m glad you are getting call backs on the school jobs, Jen. I could never work Special Ed but if you have the patience for it, you go, girl! I can understand why you are getting called because it seems Special Education is most often in demand. That’s interesting that you got called back within in a year for Jury Duty because in San Antonio they say they won’t call you back for three years. Maybe because it is a bigger city? Must be.

That Evos sounds really great. Have to admit, that you made me hungry when you talked about it. Talli would definitely approve of Evos as a much better alternative to most fast food places. And you’re sticking with the teas. I’m impressed. Sounds like you’re going through a similar food switch that I started a few years back. I used to do the Burger King & Taco Bell a lot and drank Coca-Cola most days.
Like that guy told you, I’ve felt like I’ve had a lot more energy since I switched to the healthier foods. And, like you said, when you have natural foods, they have those natural flavors which actually taste good without a pound of salt.
Oh and I want to put my vote in for Trader Joe’s for 90% of items. Trader Joe’s is very careful about going with the higher quality products, less junk in the ingredients and they have good prices. Plus, less soda temptation is good if you’re trying to stay off the sodas. Worked for me!
Ok, I should probably be getting paid for this endorsement…might have to work on that!
