I agree it was nice to hear Jen compared to 133 show. It’s too funny how both of you stop everything to see what that program thing is going to say the thing that make noise and tell time, current events, ect. sounds like the school jen went to vist will be perfect seeing and they seem to fit into the hyper nonsense profile vary well :0) good luck with that one. well that all for now

First of all, I’m glad to hear that Jen’s back! Yay!

The funny thing about Shawno’s mute FAIL was that it fitted in perfectly with the discussion in terms of who was talking but not what we were talking about. It was very funny.

Glad to hear that Shawno’s job is looking even better for him and as for Jen’s story at the school – wow! What a time for that to happen! I hope that it turns in to be a worthwhile experience!

LoL @ the Captive of Canadia LMFAO.

Loved the song, I rofl’d for about 5 minutes.

Great show both of you! I must say I prefer hearing Jen’s voice than Erk’s voice. LOL!

The visual imagery I was having when Jen was describing the Great Car Break In, was priceless! Oh and as for being called a student teacher, Jen. Take it as a compliment. He obviously thought you looked young enough to be a student teacher.

Shawno, just wondering, what do you use to measure Jen’s breasts and what scale do you use? Are you hands on or do you prefer to examine from a distance? Do you the Standard American Handful scale? And do you have FBI (Female Breast Inspector) qualifications? ;)

In regards to marriage. Here in Australia (and it is the same in the USA now) you are not instantly granted citzenship or residency if you marry an Australian Citizen. My lovely wife had to be sponsored by me, apply for a PMV (Prospective Marriage Visa), marry me before the expiration of PMV and then apply for residency. Temporary Residency is granted and then after 2 years, you apply for Permanant Residency. Another 2 years after that, you can apply for Australian Citizenship. I believe there are current changes in Federal Parliament currently which will stretch the time needed between PR and Citizen from 2 years to 4 years. Also I married a US Citizen. It does not entitle me to immediate US Citizenship. However both my daughters can be dual citizens like their Mother. My eldest is already and we’re heading down to the US consulate this week to register the Banshee.

In regards to a Catholic marrying a non-Catholic, I can speak on that too. I’m a Catholic and Robs is a Protestant. A Catholic can marrying another person of Christian denomination within The Catholic Church. “Permission” does need to be granted, but my Parish priest sign the documents saying it was good go and Robin and I wed in a Catholic church under the Sacrament of Marriage. The only “catch”, if yo will, is that our children must be baptised and raised Catholic. Anyhow, the Catholic Church in the USA is not very progressive and in some cases in still very much pre Vatican Council II. What you guys were told is just bloody crap and the priest was just being a grumpy old stick in the mud.

    Um, OK. I’m done. :)

Loved Jens story, I constantly locked my keys in my car until I got central locking and I needed my keys to lock the car

Oh and I would like a large pepperoni pizza for dinner thanks :)

  11. Erk @ the Erk Pod said:

I wonder if anyone rings a Pizza joint and starts trying to have a Round Table discussion with them, Squeak?

Seriously though, on an episode Shawno and Jen should ring up a pizza place one day and order and then say “would you like to speak to my friend in Australia?” (insert one Australian friend here). I’d love to hear that result! ;)

    Is this CNN?

Where’s the running electoral vote count total?

I need my live Internets election coverage!!!

  13. Shawno said:

No elections here, Ken. All we’ve got is an oligarchy, with some hints of enlightened despotism.

Fortunately, we’ve chosen you to be our Viceroy of Grumpiness. Congratulations.

  14. Ken Turetzky said:

Congratulations to the Hyper Nonsense crew for all your work to help pass Prop. 8!

This is the rant that put the vote over the top:
    I’ll get you, gays!

Halloween song- great song three years running!
    Bunny costume- great as well!
Atascadero- elections news!! woo! is there anything more exciting? NO!
Hmmm, so it sounds like you took a trip to my old high school Jen! Many a Tedone has roamed those outdoor halls and sat in those indoor class rooms. Sounds like you were creating quite a scene too!
Seriously though, get AAA, I’ve used it a couple of times because of flat tires and dead batteries. Of my car is about ready to fall apart any minute anyway, it’s always a good idea to have back up. You get free towing anywhere within nine miles too!
One reason that school is so big is because it was once two schools, the buildings on the top of the hill were once a junior high. Now that part is basically an adult school, but the High School uses some of the buildings too.
Man, I need to get my hair cut too.

  17. Shawno said:

I think if Jen’s car ever breaks down, we’re just going to set fire to it and leave it on the side of the road. And videotape it, of course. You know, for the podcast.

  18. DianaCecelia said:

car on fire?!? well, that would be exciting!

I feel like an ass for not mentioning it, but congratulations on making it through all those rounds Jen!

Also have you guys checked out http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com? It’s like a black hole for spare time! One of my favorites it this gem from the UK:
