Re being followed on Twitter, I got one from someone like “The Real McCain” so I blocked it. Maybe “he” has heard me mention America on Twitter once or twice.
Then the other day I made a comment on Twitter re an episode of South Park where I said Eric Cartman said something like on a phone call “Mr President, I’m Eric Cartman”. Then I get followed by Eric Cartman!

Re Trolley Fund
If you were in a certain country starting with the letter A and ending in ustralia, the Trolley Fund would be called either The Tram Fund or The Light Rail fund. To us, a trolley is something you push around the shop (or what you’d call a shopping cart).

Funny you say about Frisco, Shawno. Frisco here is the name of one of those companies that you order Xmas hampers through where they encourage you to spend $X (or pesos or whatever your local currency is) per week and at Xmas, you get a hamper. Funnily enough, those ads start just after Xmas probably to try and tell you that there is an easier way (in their opinion) to do things in relation to Xmas food shopping. Then the ads will disappear for a while only to appear mid year or so. They’d be due to restart in November, I reckon.

Erk Pod is getting into NaPodPoMo too.
Now I have experience through Erk Pod Mini (Jan – May 2008). But I’ve invited Drue, Orange Tim and Squeak along for the ride. So the plan at the moment is for each of us to do their own daily podcast and put it on the Erk Pod Mini feed. I’m going to do 11 minutes a day because it is the 11th month but I’m leaving it to each of the guys to determine what they are going to do.

Oh I’m not complaining of the length of HN. As you mentioned, I did help you break the “2 hour barrier”. Believe me at those early hour morning baby feeds and nappy changes, HN is a blessing.
I’ve had my photo taken at work more times than I care to remember over the years. Working in one of the best burns units in the country, you get used to official visitors, politicians, media and so on.
I’ve had a few people that have heard me on the various podcasts I’ve been a guest on, follow me on Twitter. But recently I’ve had nothing but Twiiter p0rn spambots wanting to follow me! Urrggghh!
There was a vote for non-permanent members for the UN Security Council recently. Austria was applying for a position. They got a position, however they missed out on one vote, due to a “mystery” country voting for Australia instead of Austria. Australia wasn’t running for a position at the time of the vote.
In countries with Islamic Law, there aren’t many “freedoms”.
What is San Fran famous for? Mmmmm let see. Drug cheat Barry Bonds (strip him of his all time HR record, Selig!), Dirty Harry, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge…

- Salvano’s reaction to young Kurt’s casual annoucement that he’s gay. Kurt- “I make love with the men, not the women.” It really shows the difference between the generations. While Sal has had to hide who he is, even marrying a women who he seems to care about though not be attracted to, Kurt is able to be honest. While the office is shocked, and not exactly comfortable, the world doesn’t fall apart (it might help that Kurt if European). No, really. To paraphrase one of the characters, “they do things differently there”
-Don’s trip to fantasy world with the idle rich. The mood was both dream-like and creepy throughout that whole encounter.
-Kurt giving Peggy a new do (about time!) And Pete’s reaction to it. Such a dog.

The internetz ARE crazy. I have this image randomizer, works fine with Safari on a Mac and Internetz Explorer on those Mickey Mouse PC machines, but not so great on Firefox. I’m pretty sure it’s the cache, if you set it to “0″ it works no problem.
Glad to hear that the trolley video won’t contain any porn, the world is not ready for a Shawno and Jen sex tape.

What no guest? I’m very disappointed. You’ve failed to meet the standards I have come to expect over the last 4 weeks.
When I was in Philadelphia I was determined to have a ‘proper’ Philly Cheese steak sandwich. It turned out that the problem was which place to go to. On every corner there seems to be a place to get them. There were three within sight of the Liberty Bell.
Speaking of the Liberty Bell, I didn’t actually go into the building. There was full-on airport style security to get in there so I didn’t bother. It’s not my history after all. Are they seriously worried about terrorists blowing up this bell? If you’re a terrorist and all you can blow up is an old bell then you’re really not trying.
Companies are starting to realise that customer service has become more important in this internet age. It used to be if someone has a bad experience, then one person gets pissed off. Now that pissed off person will post on a blog, Digg, Twitter or even a podcast and thousands if not millions of people will see it. Bad PR spreads like wildfire. It’s always worth keeping that bad PR off the internets and equally good PR spreads on the internet from good stories of customer service

I was once working overnight at a petrol station (gas station for you heathens) on NEW YEARS DAY! Don’t feel sorry for me, I didn’t have any parties to go to and I was getting double time. Someone felt sorry for me though. At about 4am a group of people walked up obviously going home after a new years party. As they we leaving one of the guys said ‘happy new year’ and posted a joint through the window. BEST TIP EVER!!!!!!
It’s certainly worth trying to make this a more-than-once-a-week show, but speaking personally it’s hard enough finding the time to listen to one show a week.

Inexplicably, “Halloween Is Awesome” by the band Hyper Nonsense is No. 1 for the month on the Podsafe Music Network comedy chart.
Please don’t be alarmed. “Halloween Is Awesome” is a seasonal favorite, and soon will be restored to its place in the attic next to the Christmas decorations.
I mention this only as an excuse to also point out that my song “(Jerry Lewis) Fly Me To The Moon” is No. 2 for the month and No. 4 for the week in comedy, while my song “People I Know” is No. 1 for the week in comedy.

England is a country. There is no England in Australia. However we do have a region in the State of New South Wales called New England.
However we have a Toronto here in NSW.
In Sydney’s Inner West we have a suburb called Canada Bay. And not leaving out our Yank mates, we have a Brooklyn and Beverly Hills as well!

I believe that there are few things that are available in the US store that are not available in the AU store. And if you go to the US store and try to buy something, it will direct you back to the AU store.

Alright, Jacob. You made the leaderboard. No more comments on this episode from you. Furthermore, you need to stop posting just to get your post count up. If you have legitimate comments about the episodes, or about discussions happening around the episodes, leave them. Otherwise, no more “I’m drunk, LOLZ,” or whatever style comments. Everyone else on the leaderboard got there slowly, by leaving good comments and joining in on the discussion. We haven’t brought it up in awhile, but we have said over time, since we started the leaderboard that we will moderate comments if necessary. REMEMBER that I can go through and delete most of your comments, and I can also completely remove you from the leaderboard. I don’t want to have to do those things. So, relax and show some restraint. You’ll find that everyone will respect you for it.
