Great show guys! It's cool that you have so many international listeners, ah the magic of the internet!
Nice singing too! I think you need to make that a regular part of the show.

The great thing about Australia is that they have zoos there where you can hold a Koala.

Regarding the podcasting vs. radio thing, I listen to a lot of public radio podcasts, like This American Life and All Things Considered (as well as a little HN), at work. I think there'll always be a market for these types of radio shows, even if they aren't primarily delivered through the radio anymore. You could argue that purely audio mediums will eventually go extinct and be replaced by more visual entertainment. However. I think that there are many situations (working, driving, etc.) where you have to watch what your doing and not a screen. I listen to a few video podcasts, but I find that I rarely will watch the video portion of the podcast for that reason.
At this point in my life most of the new music I find is by watching movies and checking out whatever they have at the library.

I've been to America twice and both times while I was in the country there was a mass killing. First a failed businessman in Pennsylvania killed three generations of his family and the second time a kid walked into a mall in Omaha and started shooting. Since Dunblane in 1996, Britain has banned all hand guns and there hasn't been a mass shooting since. I rest my case.

(Having said that young people in the rougher parts of London and Manchester have started shooting each other with alarming regularity, so it's not all good news.)

Thanks for the heads up Erk. Kinda funny though that you mention Delaware, it's one of those states where nothing ever happens. But i get your point. Maybe Australia should loosen up on it's gun control, a good rampage shooting always makes the news. While i'm at it, why didn't that Croc hunter have a gun? If Steve Irwin was American he'd be feeding those crocs grenades for breakfast. I'm not saying that's an OK thing to do, but it would've made the show sooo much better.

Is there an AFL website or something that has video? I'd love to see one of those games again.

I am on <a href="http://twitter.com/kturet" title="Ken Turetzky on Twitter" / rel="nofollow">Twitter, Shawno. Just created <a href="http://twitter.com/kturet" title="Ken Turetzky on Twitter" / rel="nofollow">my account a week or so ago.

Haven't decided how to use this new tool for maximum gripiness. Although I have Blip'ed since last night.

Here's my FriendFeed.

I'm also now on <a href="http://www.thesixtyone.com/kturet/" / rel="nofollow">thesixtyone, another one of those inscrutable music/deejay sites.

Watch all of these sites closely during the next few weeks for absolutely nothing from me!

Ken, why aren't you on Twitter? My Internet life won't be complete until there's a place for you to gripe about everything in less than 140 characters per post.
