Hey Shawno and Jen, great episode, guys. I listened to it after a skinful of alkyhol at karaoke.
* Happy USA Day and Happy Canadia Day to the relevant people.
* FYI, Australia Day is Jan 26 and that celebrates initial British settlement into what is now Australia in 1788. Federation (when all of the then colonies became united as Australia) occurred on Jan 1, 1901. But we don’t tend to celebrate that. We are too busy celebrating New Years Eve/New Years Day.
* Jen, I hope you are feeling better after your dental work.
* The iTunes review situation for podcasts is indeed crap.

I can imagine Shawno saying to Jen before getting on the ride-on mower:
“Hold my beer a minute and watch this…………”
July 7th, 2008 at 5:13 pm
No, Erk, there was no need for me to “Hold his beer and watch this”. He’d already finished both his drinks before deciding to drive the ride-on mower.
And yes, I am feeling much better from dental work, as of today, thank you very much for wishing me well.

Enjoyed the show as I drifted in and out of a dream-like state. Speaking of states, not driving in California must be a challenge.
Viszontlátásra from Budapest.

I just spotted one of those rabbits on eBay for about sixty bucks, BTW, for anyone interested. (It’s a 1st-gen., not a 2nd-gen.)
In the episode before this one, when I heard you two speaking about the rabbits, I couldn’t help but picture David Lynch’s rabbits. In my head it was like you two were the rabbits. I know, odd.

First you talk about waves of listeners, then Canadia, and I’m nowhere to be found?!?!
Oh well, that’s what I get for abandoning you guys..several times now, I believe.

I can’t believe we forgot you, Colz. We’ll definitely make it up to you in the next show.

But Shawno, that’s you being you. You started talking about a couple of waves of listeners and then (I think) you started talking about Canadia (as you do!). You’ll love my latest two episodes then, especially 124.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHAWNO!

Thanks, Erk! It’s been a pretty great day so far.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAWN!!! Well, I guess I’m a little late…..but still. Hope it was a great day. Peace out

Thanks, Matt. It was actually a pretty rad day. Full coverage to come on our next episode.

What am I? Third Wave? Fourth Wave?
Same sex marriage (or more accurately Civil Partnership) has been legal in the UK since 2005. There were no big protests at the time, basically because fortunately in this country we don’t have the religious nutters you guys do. We’re a very secular society here.
MIDI name that tune? Not the most useful skill…
Thanks for the review. You’re the first person world-wide who has actually done that. I wrote reviews for HN and Inside My Head in the UK store.
Gave another spin to the HN promo on my show this weekend. I’ll keep playing it until Jen gets around to doing an Inside My Head promo.

Spent two weeks in Whistler, Canadia working for a friend as soon as school let out and naturally got to meet quite a few Canadians. What a funny bunch of people. There are so many different Canadian accents that I would often ask people where there from.
I found myself calling it Canadia more often than not and the locals I met loved it. I even heard them use it. Well done, Shawno. If they ever rename the country I hope you are given some small amount of credit.
