G’day Shawno & Jen & Bunny
On behalf of the entire Erk Pod cast and crew, I’d like to congratulate you both on two years of podcasting. I’m only a recent listener to you (and you to me) but I have had many laughs with you already. I look forward to many more episodes both as a listener and a fellow podcaster.
Unfortunately I was unable to join you for this episode but I’m sure you had a blast!
Is there any chance that you can go on a road trip to Ar-kans-us or Erk Ranch, South Datoka?
Just dropping a line to say congrats. So is Vanya the third member of the team now then? I need to get a companion like that, reading out something like Poe News.
Crikey! It’s 2 years of Hypernonsense!
Great show guys, just annoying that I was at work, working my arse off and couldn’t join you both on ustream (so many medical jokes in that name).
So nice to hear Vanya again too. She’s a little beauty!!!
See you on the next Round Table or perhaps the next Hypernonsense! LOL!
You guys didn’t miss anything by not making the live show. After playing back the video that ustream.tv recorded, I can tell the audio quality wasn’t so good. That’s something that’s going to have to be worked on in the future.
And if we ever drive through South Dakota again (we have been there once before), we’ll see if we can find Erk Ranch. You’re on your own for that place in Hungary, though.
I would’ve loved to call in on Skype and send annoying comments on ustream!
Oh and the wonderful sound effects provided by the tow truck and helicopter really gave the podcast an extra something.
Although I did enjoy Ferris speaking right over the top of Vanya. Bunny Alert or not, when Ferris speaks, people listen. :o)
BTW Shawno, just how many weapons do you know of that don’t kill?
Two years of HN, how time flies. I was planning on surprising you guys with a “best of” mix with all the highlights of the show, but while working on it i realized that this show doesn’t have any highlights. So congrats, thanks for saving me a lot of work and keep up the consistency.
If anyone could put the proper spin on two years of our show, it’s Dave Calderbank.
And Tim - a non-lethal weapon? I don’t know. How about the music of James Blunt? It (probably) won’t kill you. It’ll just make you wish you were dead.
[…] the future. We had some technical problems leading up to the live broadcast of last week’s Hyper Nonsense episode. That wasn’t anything new in and of itself. What was odd was that our previous live show had […]
@ Shawno & Erk:
I think I’ve been past that place in Hungary, it’s just off the main Budapest E71 road.
There’s a picture of the church here http://www.panoramio.com/photo/962485
Yeah, Paul! That’s it. Now someone needs to find a photo of Erk Ranch and Erk will be set.
Google Earth is the best way to get a photo of Erk Ranch from this side of the world! I don’t have to go to Hungary for a while now, thanks Paul!
Guys, I enjoyed the story of your trip away and I am glad you like the promo. Still no Bunny!
BUNNY ALERT!
My bunny has arrived!
You know I’m tempted to get one now! I would need a name, any ideas? I think it will have to be a girls name.
beware, there are gangs of robot bunnies roaming PCWorld and/or Currys on the Old Kent Road.
Should we start some kind of an online group for podcasters with Nabaztags? Seems to be turning into a bit of a cult thing. NabShow?
Hey guys!
Congrats on hittin’ 200! I am just now catching up on my podcast listening and am kicking myself that I missed the shindig! I would have loved to Skype in just to wish you guys a good one.
I love this show! Keep it up!
Thanks, Lans! Though, the OCD in me needs to point out that it was a 2-year anniversary for the show. We’ve still got a long way to go before we’ll hit 200 episodes.
