    Hey!

    welcome back to the internet!

I agree about The Office. Especially the dinner party episode was, dare I say, TOO awkward. But, I think you said you are behind…. you may be pleasantly surprised with the “Did I Stutter” episode. It was LOL, perhaps even ROFL funny. I was really glad cus The Office used to always make me LOL and it hasn’t in a while.

I have never seen 30 Rock. I need to check it out.

    G’day Shawno and Jen

Welcome back to the Podosphere, guys! I’m glad you are back. They have the interweb on computers now? :P

Thanks for playing my promo and for talking Erk Pod up. Shawno, you are right that you don’t need the .com.au and that the .com is enough. I got the .com address as well in case people forget.

I originally started Erk Pod Mini as a short, daily, 5 minute podcast basically to challenge myself and to see if I could do it. I lasted about 5 months with only a day here and there off. Now it will be basically a highlights feed.

I’d love to have you guys on Erk Pod soon at a mutually convenient time.

I just got back from watching “Young@Heart” at the Palm. It’s the film about the sept, oct and nonagenarians that sick rock/punk songs in their choir. It is by far one of the best films I have seen in some time. I laughed, I cried and I never looked at my watch once. Go see it.

I have enjoyed the awkwardness of The Office this season. I enjoy uncomfortable situational comedies like that. The season finale had me laughing out loud. They spun a great story line with Kevin that I won’t spoil for you.

As for the Hollywood sign, I think somethings are left better alone. I wouldn’t care to see homes on top of it but then again I don’t live in L.A. and don’t particularly care for the city. The sign used to read Hollywoodland back when it was erected. It was an advertisement for a housing tract in the newly created suburb of Hollywood. Funny how advertisements and corporate logos can become a fixture of our culture.

    Teacher Marc,
Sometimes, I think all we have in terms of culture anymore *are* the advertisements and corporate logos. They are everywhere!

    Mikeypod,
Just watched the “did I stutter” episode. Wow!

    Erkpod,
They do have interwebs on the computers now. Who’d athunk it? ;)

You mentioned watching Survivor in the podcast. One of the best podcast companions for Survivor is Armchair Survivor with Michael and Marji Carrino. I really love listening to their analysis. It is an immediate listen after I watch an episode.
