Sorry ’bout that, Rowley. Our PayPal ID is: shawnogordo@gmail.com Also, the donate button should be working now. And thanks!

Ah,the Jerk, one of the funniest movies i’ve ever seen! Still don’t know what my favorite scene is but with a dog named shithead so it doesn’t really matter, ha!

The Nabaztag does have additional value, my girlfriend said that you could probably use those ears for eh…well, you know :) Ask Jen.

Sorry ’bout the iTunes review, tried to write one but it didn’t work. My Apple ID still has a U.S. billing address and for some reason i can’t change it using a Dutch IP number. Speaking of iTunes reviews… what the fuck was Andy Melton thinking, that you can use raw fuckin’ language on fuckin’ iToons ? You can’t fucking do that, that’s fuckin’ stupid!

Thanks for at least giving it a try with the review, Dave. And speaking of iTunes reviews, I forgot to mention on the show that Rowley left us a review in the iTunes UK Store. Thanks to him for that, and also for being the first to contribute to the bunny fund.

And as far as the bunnies go, I don’t think I’ll ever see those Nabaztag ears the same after Dave’s comment.

OK. I am going to start my commenting at the beginning of the show (only one of course) so that way I don’t forget anything. YAY! BE BRAVE! It’s not hard! You’ll have that case cracked open and a new HARD drive put in there in no time at all! You’ll then be able to store tons and tons of pornographic imagery for your pleasure!

I am going to try and leave my review again on iTunes. Let’s see how this goes. I’m going to use the word “ducking” instead of, well, you know. Ok. Emailed you proof.

I think it’s interesting that the movies show that it is so easy to purchase a gun, however, my family is an avid deer hunting family and every guy that they have purchased they have had to have background checks and sometimes even wait a few days while the background check takes place (shorter time now thanks to the Internet).

In my opinion I think the carbon offset projects are a bad idea. At the end of the day, you’re still putting carbon into the atomosphere and not really trying to solve the problem. Totally agree with you about putting solar panels up. I seriously think the government should assist people in doing that. I think it should be a government project. A global project.

Here’s my question about the Nabaztag. How is the sound quality? I hate listening to computer generated audio. Just wondering how the sound quality would be for streaming audio.

Great episode, as always. Can’t wait to hear more about cracking open the case!

Oh. I forgot to link to this, please don’t hate me for posting an additional comment. The Nabaztag alternative.

Not as cute though. I’m off to Forbidden Planet this afternoon to see if I can find one of those Nabaztags, cannot afford one yet, I just want to see one.

    Rowley.

Andy: Don’t worry about the extra comment. Post as many as you like. Love the iTunes review. Will have to read it on the next show. And I still like Nabaztag over Chapit. The article doesn’t give a lot of details on Chapit’s features, even though it does say that Chapit is better than Nabaztag. And as far as the audio quality of Nabaztag, the newest model (the Nabaztag/tag) is supposed to have a built-in audio-out jack, which would provide a lot of control over the audio quality, as you could connect it to a stereo or powered speakers.

Rowley: If you do manage to find a Nabaztag, be sure and report back and let us know what you think.

  9. Andy Melton said:

I was wondering if it had an audio out jack. That would be really useful for controlling how good the audio quality was. The only other question I would have is what audio streams is the Nabaztag compatible with? Personally, I don’t have any use for a Nabaztag. I think it’s neat, but, I’d rather use the $150 on something else (like saving for a new Mac). I get my weather and email when I want it. If I really wanted to stream audio to another room I think I’d probably just get an AirPort Express for $100 OR I would purchase a REALLY long cable! LOL!

  10. Rowley said:

It not really if you have a use for the Nabaztag - it’s one of those items I feel is not just geeky but fun. How dull is it saving for a new Mac?
I’d wait until after the release of leopard anyway - I’m sure they are going to up the macbook specs.

I don’t have a PayPal account so maybe i should send you some euros in cash for the Nabaztag. Bush screwed up the U.S. economy real bad, 20 euros will probably be worth 200 bucks by the time you get it.

    Are you a UK resident?
Drop me a line darkcompass@gmail.com and we’ll sort something out if you fancy,
    Rowley

  13. Dave Calderbank said:

Well Rowley, i do watch BBC Breakfast every morning and Nigella Lawson on monday evening for all the wrong reasons but i don’t think that makes me a UK resident. I live in the Netherlands, Amsterdam.

  14. Rowley said:

A nice place, I’ve been told the Dutch like Top Gear too (New series this Sunday)

  15. Dave Calderbank said:

Amsterdam is a nice place, but we’re moving in about 2 weeks. We pay about $1700 rent a month now, you can get a small farm for that kinda money if you move a 100 miles east. So that’s what we’re doing.

As for Top Gear, don’t think i’ve ever seen that show. Not really into cars ’cause there are no frigging parking spaces in Amsterdam! (i don’t even have a driving license)

Will you get a license after you move, Dave? Seems like you might need one after you’re living out in the country.

  18. Dave Calderbank said:

In the Netherlands there is no “out in the country” anymore Shawno, only places that are “not so crowded”. So i don’t think i’ll need a license, or a car. If i do i’m getting a SUV. I know they’re bad for the environment but it won’t get me killed in a car crash since most of the other cars are way smaller.

Hey guys good show! I’ll be in SLO this weekend (right now to be exact) So we should get together tomorrow night or something. I’ll send you an email with my phone if you’ve lost it. The Nabaztag sounds pretty cool, but will it do your homework? Cause isn’t that the dream of every person at one time in their life? I think so…
