Episode 66 starts off with the million-dollar question… where hae we been? We read some fan mail and talk about our experience in marriage counseling, we ask, “what happens when couplecasts divorce?” Then we talk about Mcjobs and fast-food marketing ploys, finally we wrap up the show with coverage of several interesting news stories.

Welcome back guys, I hope you can sort out your differences, I’m sure you’ll still be friends regardless.
McJob - It’s been a thing since the late ’80s when McDonalds started to spawn themselves across the uk. Rats, the extra meat. It’s all publicity and everyone says any publicity is good publicity.
Did you tape the marriage counseling sessions? Love to here that, you know, sorta like a Woody Allen type podcast filled with chilling stories about morbid obesity and substance abuse
If things don’t work out between you guys my money’s on Jen starring in Jen & Roeper, based on the brilliant King Kong review she did and my guess that Roger Ebert could kick the bucket sooner than you think.
I have actually considered sneaking the iRiver into our sessions, Dave. And while I’m sure the audio would make for some good podcastin’, I’m not sure it’d be so good for the marriage.
The internal debate goes on…
Also, I like the idea of “Jen & Roeper.” Especially since, after Ebert does finally kick off, that show’s going to need a serious personality boost to cover what Roeper lacks.
Guess you’re right, it might not be so good for your marriage, especially if you’re planning on sneaking it in!
But seriously, i hope you guys work things out. It’s hard enough to find someone you love and loves you back, so if you do it’s worth fighting for.
Shawno - I hope this isn’t too insensitive, I’m only joking by it. If you two split, I’m not in a relationship at the moment.
I don’t know why, but my favorite part of the show is after the music and you play that hot little intro and you all come back, that’s hot.
Glad to have you both back! Great episode!
It was a real treat to see the ep downloading. I enjoyed the show as always. Best of luck in the marriage counseling. The wife hit some snags 5 years in and it all worked out in the end. We’re now pushing 12 years and going strong!
We talked about McJobs in class the other day and the kids thought it was hilarious.
